Welcome to the European School for Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health.

The School seeks to contribute to improvement of mother and child health by strengthening of capacities and expertise in the field of maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health in the European Region, and the adoption by States of specific strategies to protect and promote the health of mothers, newborns, children and adolescents in the whole Region.

Therefore the expected results of the School’s activities include:

1. an increased number of high-level professionals and policy makers who make use of updated knowledge in their work to develop and implement evidence based policies and interventions in the field of maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.

2. the establishment of formal and informal networks among teachers, participants, academic institutions and health authorities throughout the Region.
